Dryer Vent Cleaning
If it is taking longer to dry your clothes, it may be time to arrange a dryer vent cleaning. Lint and other debris can build up in the dryer vent and tubing. This can cause longer drying times, exhaust fires, and can also increase the risk of carbon monoxide in the home. Carbon monoxide is a dangerous gas that can cause great harm to your family and pets. Dryer vents need to be properly cleaned and maintained in order to operate efficiently and safely. Soot and Cinders is pleased to offer quality dryer vent cleaning services to the Layton area at affordable prices. Each dryer vent cleaning begins with an airflow reading that measures the amount of air that is able to flow through the vent. A Ro-Vac vacuum is then used to suction out all of the lint and debris that has built up inside the tubing and vent. To ensure that everything has been removed, a spinning brush is also snaked through the tubing system. Once the dryer vent cleaning is complete, a second airflow reading is taken to measure improvement. Occasionally, sections of dryer vent can become disconnected. If this may be a problem, a video scan can be taken to identify the location of disconnect. When repairs are deemed necessary, I will be happy to offer a free estimate, with absolutely no sales pressure. Thorough dryer vent cleaning can reduce the risk of serious hazards, improve the efficiency of your dryer, and save you valuable time and money.
