Duct Cleaning

Soot & Cinders | Layton,UT | Duct Cleaning

The Environmental Protective Agency claims that indoor air can be up to 70% more polluted than outdoor air. Over time, pet dander, dust mites, and other allergens build up in air ducts and can cause health problems. Proper air duct cleaning can reduce allergens, improve air quality in the home, and even improve the efficiency of your furnace. At Soot & Cinders, I use the most effective duct cleaning method available to clean your air ducts. The negative air method is the only way to eliminate pollutants from ducts. It has been my method of choice since I began offering this service to the Layton, Utah community in 1995. This is why the negative air method is so effective. A large, high-powered vacuum is set up outside the home. A hose is run into the house and connected to the main air duct above the furnace. While the vacuum sucks out the pollutants, a series of octopus-like tools are snaked through the system. These tools are powered by compressed air. They simultaneously brush and blast the air ducts clean. No other method is more effective. Don’t be fooled by promises of “whole home specials” or prices that are too good to be true. These companies do not use the negative air method. In fact, they often make the problem worse, and wind up inflating the original promised price by hundreds of dollars. That is not how I operate. I stand behind my duct cleaning method and believe that satisfied customers are better advertisement that any gimmick. Trust Soot & Cinders to handle all of your duct cleaning needs.
